The Old Bagan

A thousand years ago Burmese culture and known traditions were established in this historical kingdom. These times were often considered as the glory days. Over the last centuries, this enormous cultural ground was hit by a number of earthquakes and the ravages of time have turned hundreds of temples into piles of crumbling stones. What you will see are the glorious remnants of exotic Buddhist temples that are still standing tall, defiant of time and weather.
