Yangon
You will be welcomed by our friendly guide at Yangon International airport and transferred to hotel. Yangon sightseeing starts from the city center, such as Independence monument, Sule Pagoda, City hall and the hustle and bustle of the city life. Then continue to the Bogyoke (Scott) Market– the market known for colonial architecture and to the great gold gilded 2600 years old Shwedagon Pagoda. Overnight in Yangon.
Yangon – Mandalay
After breakfast at the hotel road trip to Mandalay starts in your private car. The 400-mile road now over 100 years old, built across different panoramic view will take you away from busy city life. You will get a perfect opportunity to witness genuine Burmese rural lives along the way. In the evening you will be in Mandalay City after driving for ten hours. Overnight in Mandalay.
Mandalay – Amarapura
Start sightseeing Amarapura highlights, include Maha Gan Da Yone Monastery which is the abode of hundreds of monks practicing Buddhist scriptures, 1.2 Km long U Bein teak bridge built with the salvaged teak wood from the abandoned Ava palace, Wood carving, Marble carving and Bronze casting. Return to Mandalay and visit Maha Muni Bronze Buddha Image, Shwe Nan Daw Kyaung – a traditional teak architecture, Ku Tho Daw Pagoda – known as the world’s biggest Buddhist scriptures book displaying 729 marble slabs. Mandalay – Mingun – Sagaing – Mandalay
Road trip to Mingun village starts from Mandalay to Mingun. Proceed to the Pha Hto Daw – the 18th century unfinished monument, Mingun Bronze bell – the second largest ringing bronze bell in the world that weighs 90 tons, Mya Thein Tan Zaydi – the stunning mason architecture with all white decoration. Visit Sagaing – Umin Thon Ze Pagoda, Sun Oo Ponnya Shin and the white hemispherical form Kaung Mu Daw stupa. Overnight in Mandalay.
Mandalay – Bagan
Start driving from Mandalay to Bagan for about 4-hours. Explore Nyaung Oo market on arrival for traditional arts and crafts products, proceed to Shwe Zi Gone Pagoda – built by King Anawrahta the founder of Bagan Dynasty in 11th century, Ananda temple –the most beautiful masterpiece of Mon ethnic architecture, Manuha temple -a major attraction in Bagan which houses gigantic Buddha statues. That Byin Nyu temple is one of the highest temples and attractive architecture to which travelers would gaze up with inspiration. Continue to Gaw Daw Palin temple and lacquer ware industry. Overnight in Bagan.
Bagan
Visit the major Temples and Monuments, Monasteries, Fresco and Mural painting caves of Bagan. Nanphaya temple – a unique sandstone monument, said to have been the palace of King Manuha, Myin Gaba Gu Byauk Gyi temple -noted for its ancient mural paintings under the protection of UNESCO, visit Lawka Nandar Stupa, Sulamani Pagoda – means “Crowning Jewel” built by King Narapati Sithu, Damayangyi temple – finest archeological structure. Overnight in Bagan.
Mt. Popa – Bagan
Take a day return trip to Mount Popa – an extinct volcano with shrines on top known as the home of 37 venerated spirits. Visitors have to climb the 777 steps to the top of the dead volcano accompanied by monkeys along the way. Return to Bagan, leisure time to pursue individual interest. Overnight in Bagan.
Bagan – Yangon
Begin a scenic drive back to Yangon through dramatic landscapes and sleepy villages where you can stop and take photos of your unforgettable road trip. Arrive to Yangon in the evening, check in hotel and overnight.
